Performance & targets

Our CR commitments and progress

During 2011, we have continued to make excellent progress in our performance against our Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and targets (please see below). In particular, we have performed well in the areas of food waste reduction, the reduction of water and electricity consumption, wellness and nutrition and global employment retention.

Following consultations with key stakeholders including employees, customers, non-governmental organisations ('NGOs') and financial analysts, we have increased the scope of our environmental reporting to include our ‘Top Twenty’ countries for greater coverage across the business. The additional ten countries’ performance will be reported in 2012. Our ultimate goal is to be able to achieve reporting from all countries in which we operate.

We measure and report internally on our performance against each Key Performance Indicator and performance is reviewed by the CR Committee quarterly.
